Since of launch of HP touchpad with WebOS efforts are being made to port Android on this device due to android's huge app base and acceptability world-wide.
After HP discontinued the tablet this summer and sold off it remaining stock in a fire sale which swa prices reduced to $99 many have bought the tablet with hope to later convert it to Android.
So far there isn't any significant progress made in this regard and no one has come up with any fruitful results yet.
With the launch of Android 4.0 Ice cream sandwich a hope is emerging that this can be ported on HP Touchpad and a developer on tech forum posted a video online showing HP touchpad running android 4.0
